Hi, I’m Leen!


I’m a board-certified lifestyle medicine physician, entrepreneur, and mom of two boys.

My Story

 

After over a decade of medical training to become board-certified internists, my husband and I spent five years as attendings in hospital medicine, working long hours and facing the intense demands of the healthcare system. As doctors, we were immersed in helping others, but we found ourselves putting our own health and well-being on the back burner.

During my time in the hospital, I witnessed firsthand the consequences of neglecting self-care—patients suffering from preventable diseases that could have been avoided with the right habits and preventative measures. I knew there had to be a better way to help people before they reached the point of crisis.

I realized I could make a greater impact by helping others on the front end—preventing disease and empowering people to take control of their health before it was too late.

That’s when I decided to transition into lifestyle medicine, combining my medical expertise with a more holistic, preventative approach.

This transition came after my own personal turning point. I did a full life audit and developed systems designed to help me survive burnout. But these systems didn’t just help me survive—they transformed my life on multiple levels. I went from feeling overwhelmed and burned out to thriving, not only in my health but in my relationships, career, motherhood, and overall happiness.

Now, as a certified lifestyle medicine physician, I’m dedicated to teaching other busy moms how to do the same. I’ve created a proven blueprint that helped me find balance, reclaim my time, and build sustainable habits
